Ford Motor Credit Company estimated Bart Reagor, the namesake co-owner of the bankruptcy-ridden Reagor-Dykes Auto Group, owes it $46.7 million following Senior U.S. District Judge Sam Cummings's ruling against the lone defendant on May 24.

In an order proposal filed Monday, attorneys for Ford Credit show the Reagor-Dykes default as of August 1, 2018 to be more than $112 million. Over the next several months, following repossession and sale of its collateral, Ford Credit recovered $74.6 million. That includes vehicles, furnishings, furniture, equipment, and projections on sales yet to be complete.

On top of the remaining balance, Ford Credit's attorneys claim the agency paid out more than $7.9 million in "additional costs," such as wholesale charges, "on-site containment," and auctions.

That "total" amount left over comes to about $45.3 million; in addition to that, the credit agency also claims it's entitled to recouping its attorney fees to four different law firms, equaling about $1.4 million.

If Judge Cummings approves Ford Credit's proposed order, the court would also mandate Reagor pay accumulating post-default interest on the total debt and attorney's fees until they're completely paid off.  That would start on a date set by Judge Cummings, at a rate of 5.5% -- or $7,043.15 a day until the balance is zeroed.
