Tuesday: 57 new COVID-19 cases and 65 more recoveries

The City of Lubbock reported 57 additional confirmed cases of COVID-19 among the county's residents Tuesday. It also reported 65 additional recoveries.

There are currently 1,467 active cases, 5,414 recoveries and 94 deaths.

88,669 tests have been administered in Lubbock. This includes people who traveled here to get tested. While their tests are included in the test total, their cases are reported back to their home county. The overall positivity rate is now at 10 percent.

66 people are being treated in Lubbock hospitals for COVID-19, including 38 people in ICUs. More than 400 beds are open for any procedure. Much more info is available on the city's COVID-19 dashboard.
